a month agoUnfortunately, Revotion is currently experiencing significant problems. I fully understand that there are staffing shortages and operations are temporarily running at a reduced capacity. However, when selling a product in this price range, the necessary updates should at least function reliably – especially when the node is currently practically unusable as a result. Currently, the service appears to be maintained solely by AI, and I've been trying unsuccessfully for weeks to get the system running. Other nodes have worked flawlessly, which makes the situation all the more frustrating. If Revotion doesn't actively address its customers again soon, I honestly fear for the future of this otherwise excellent system. Furthermore, I believe it's imperative that Revotion openly addresses the circulating rumors of a possible insolvency through its own channels and provides transparency.

a month agoThe advertising and public image of this "nice little, likeable start-up" convinced me to buy their relatively expensive products. Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed: - There's no real product description/manual for the devices. The videos are nice, but they're not helpful when I need to quickly find specific information. - The fuel gauge is unreliable. While the Supersense sensor provides accurate readings, the data transfer to Revotion seems to be hit or miss. - The switch doesn't activate the UV disinfection; apparently, the switching power is too high. What good is a switch that can't even handle a standard camping application? - It's impossible to logically link devices together. Simple IF-THE logic was promised to me as early as the second quarter of 2025... - Starting in 2026, remote access will cost €7.50 per month, which is completely disproportionate to the system's actual benefit. - The Revotion system is still miles away from being a "smart home"; it is essentially a far too expensive remote control for individual components (e.g., heating).

2 months agoThe system isn't badly designed in principle. Unfortunately, remote access is unreliable, sometimes even completely unusable, despite the motorhome being 8 meters away. At €7.99 per month for this is overpriced. Fuel gauges are unreliable: calibration had to be performed several times to then maintain a reading of 100% during use. After a week, the fuel level indicator jumps from 100% to 1%, even though the tank is well over half full. We've had problems from the start; for example, the Brain unit wouldn't connect at all, we had to send it in, and it came back without any explanation, and not within the promised timeframe. Even now, customer service is just stalling us, and we're afraid we won't get a response at all, or only after numerous inquiries. We've become so frustrated with the system that we wouldn't waste our money on it again today.

3 months agoThe ideas are good, but the implementation is poor and the price is high. Key issues: Reliability is inadequate: Constant manual calibration of battery and gas cylinder displays is required. The main function is faulty: The advertised worldwide remote function via LTE-M does not work in many countries. There are security flaws: This makes integrating the Thitronik alarm system pointless, as notifications are not received. The Thitronik SMS function must be deactivated. Customer service is poor: Very slow responses and a lack of expertise (e.g., incorrect instructions to switch the Brain to Wi-Fi). The price-performance ratio is not right. Positive aspects: The Truma control and the water tank control work very well. Conclusion/Recommendation: Currently, no installation recommendation. The system is immature.
