7 months agoYou don't have to be Heinz to despair over Heinz. I had a date today with golden-brown, crispy fries. Everything was ready. And then came the Heinz ketchup sachet. 20g of concentrated packaging innovation – unfortunately, only for people with scissors, a knife, or some kind of emergency tool in their luggage. I tried everything: tearing, squeezing, praying. Nothing. No access to the tomato. Instead of a culinary delight, I got packaging that makes even a bank safe deposit box seem like an open book. Dear Heinz marketers: Your advertising slogans are award-winning. But perhaps it's time to invest not only in campaigns but also in customer experience. Packaging that can be opened without professional tools would be a start. I didn't have high expectations – just a little tomato sauce, thankfully. Instead, I got dry fries and the realization: Marketing makes you hungry. Packaging makes you angry. One star – for the ketchup I couldn't eat. Christoph Krenauer
