a month agoA heartfelt thank you to the friendly and helpful FAWO technician who, despite being a regular customer, helped me out of a difficult situation. During a road trip through France in a rented Carado campervan, the toilet handle, along with the bolt inside, fell off and landed in the bathroom. I couldn't open it from the outside without potentially damaging the toilet cubicle. Unfortunately, the FIAT mobility service (the hotline answered immediately) felt responsible only for the base vehicle, not the Carado conversion. The rental company I contacted couldn't offer a workable solution either. I couldn't find a garage capable of repairing a motorhome, as I was located in the middle of the country. Despite several calls on a Monday morning (starting at 9 a.m.), Carado roadside assistance was unreachable for hours – this speaks volumes about their terrible service, and I will never rent a Carado again. Only after contacting the handle manufacturer, FAWO, whom I identified using images from Google, was I able to receive successful assistance. This speaks volumes about the company's service orientation.
