3 weeks agoThe granoVita brand 'Holsteiner Liesel' vegan onion and apple lard is truly very close to 'homemade': impressive. It's also great that you can barely detect the old (because it's not sustainable) palm oil, the solidified mixture barely lingers on the palate, and it's easy to eat. Furthermore, the packaging is well thought out (intentionally?): the label is very easy to remove, allowing the entire jar to be reused (for preserving, for example). I find the suggestion that it comes from the north (named 'Holzsteiner') a drawback, as Lake Constance simply doesn't support that claim – but this doesn't affect my rating. And: even the expired product (see picture) is still perfectly edible long afterward.

2 months agoDespite some of the negative reviews here, I have to give a big thumbs up to the 'WÜRZ&CO' (Hügli) cream sauce I bought at Penny. I've tried all the brand-name cream sauces, and lo and behold... this one tastes the best by far. The market leaders M.... or K.... can't even come close, and the price for three jars is unbeatable. The 34.5% cream powder is probably the key ingredient that makes this sauce so delicious; please don't change it. Yes, of course, it also contains delicious MSG , which makes it even better. It's a standard seasoning in Asian countries. For those complaining, yes, it's a quick and easy ready-made product. If that doesn't suit you, then make your own sauce. The well-known brands are inferior because they stretch everything with flour and other additives. Like I said, this cream sauce is great just the way it is. 👍🏻

3 months agoErntesegen beef bouillon cubes. I should have been more suspicious about MIT. Second ingredient: glucose syrup, third: cornstarch. And what's shea fat doing in beef broth? Especially since it already contains beef fat; increasing the proportion wasn't possible due to the price, was it? And shea around the world is more organic than beef from the EU? Shakes my head... The purchase price, in any case, was in the pure organic league. Who's lining their pockets with that? Surely it can't be our local Edeka, pretending to be so organic? Two stars because it contains organic herbs.

5 months agoI read all these reviews and I am really surprised, I also buy Hügli products but the actual own brand and they are really delicious, with the "non" own brands the recipes are from the customer and he wants it to taste that way, the company Hügli does exactly what they are paid for, production according to specifications, I also work in a food company and it is the same there
