2 months agoAttention landlords! "NEVER ENTRUST YOUR PROPERTY TO MAEVA!" I would like to briefly share my experience as a landlord. I chose to entrust my property to Maeva, and our apartment was completely neglected. Inventories were never conducted, yet the tenants collected their rent. It's also worth noting that seasonal workers have passes that allow them to squat in your apartments whenever they want, so furniture disappears and your property is damaged. You will also have no reliable contact in the region, nor will you receive any response from headquarters. Our contract was never updated, and while they require a registered letter for cancellation, don't expect a reply, an inventory, or the return of keys as required. It seems that Maeva's staff doesn't care about managing their clients! I think it's better to pay a more expensive service provider; you'll have less renovation work or purchases to make regularly.

2 months agoWe booked a chalet at the Maeva Le Lac campsite in Carnac for 4 nights. We came from Seine-et-Marne with my wife and our two daughters. We arrived after a 6-hour drive, and no one was there to give us the keys to the chalet, and no one answered the phone. The Maeva France management was unable to find a solution for us and responded after an hour and a half of waiting on site to sort things out for us, even though night was falling... IT'S A DISGRACE!!! THIS CAMPSITE AND MAEVA ARE SCAMMERS. AVOID IT. I am investigating all possible remedies against this campsite and this group. I should point out that we had communicated with the campsite numerous times and that our reservation had been planned for several months.

4 months agoI'm giving it 1 star for a more than mediocre experience. We booked this vacation home in L'Ampolla through MAEVA. Judging by the photos, it looked promising. What a disappointment, it's a shame I can't post the photos we took and sent to Maeva and Interhome. -Upon arrival: The cleaning was very superficial, and as expected, we looked for something to do the routine cleaning: no vacuum cleaner, no brush/small dustpan, only one broom was outside!! -The ground floor bathroom was eaten away by rust, with a patch of rust the size of a plate right next to the sink! Pleasant, not in terms of hygiene. - Hot water problem during the first few days. Interhome called in a repairman because the water heater was leaking in the kitchen (we had to put a container underneath it). The cover had also been removed, which allowed us to see the leak. - A freezer that was half-freezing (we had to remove some of our groceries that had thawed). - Broken deckchairs, impossible to sit in them to enjoy the terrace. - Filthy, dirty, stained interior blinds (children's bedrooms) or non-existent or broken ones (parents' bedroom and living room), which are inconvenient in the heat. - Holes in the baseboards and the floor for ants to enter, numerous mold stains on the living room walls. - A somewhat chaotic air conditioning unit that opens onto the parents' bedroom (fridge) when the children's bedrooms are nice and warm. Phew, they added fans because it must have already been mentioned. And I'll end with the nicest part!! The visit from a bank employee for problems with unpaid rent or due dates!! Even though, after explaining things to the person (thanks to the phone operator for translating!), they reassured us that we could stay! It's a good thing, because we did indeed pay, and we feel like we're being taken for fools. When we contacted Maeva (the contact we booked with), they kindly brushed us off and referred us to Interhome. After multiple reminders and attempted contact, we just received €100 in compensation this week. We had contested it and asked for more, because for us it's not at all commensurate with the damages, but NADA. For those who use Maeva, please note that it's not possible to reach customer service directly by phone!!!

5 months ago2 days before our departure, we realized that the reservation of baby kit and sheet was not taken into account. Result: we find ourselves without a bed for our 9 month old baby... I called customer service who "can't do anything" and they blame the campsite, they finally hung up on me...
