Roan Luxury Camping

My mom broke her leg during our stay, and Matteo from Roan went above and beyond to make sure we could stay at the camping and still had a good experience. He made a bridge up to the porch of the mobile home, so we could wheel the wheelchair up on the porch. He helped us with that every day. Thanks to Matteo we had a great stay at Camping Family Village Rimini!

We visited Camping BI-Village in Croatia at Roan accommodations. What excellent service! Upon arrival, we were asked about our arrival time and were quickly welcomed by the Roan staff. After filling out the necessary information, we were escorted to our tent. A drink was already cold in the refrigerator, which is perfect; something for everyone (beer, juice, and water). We booked for a week and wanted to stay longer. A longer stay was no problem, and we were able to choose from the available options. Communication with the campsite team is fast via WhatsApp. This is fantastic. Our overall impression of Roan accommodations is excellent, with a comprehensive inventory, clean, and well-maintained.

We booked a mobile home at Senia Internacional Gala Gogo campsite through vacanceselect. There were two families and we could only pitch together or next to each other for €100, which we found too expensive so we didn't choose it. We arrived at 10:00 am and knew we could check in from 4:00 pm. Because we had very young children with us, we were told we could check in earlier and that we would be called when everything was clean. We had something to eat and drink and explored the campsite, and we were called at 3:30 pm to let us know we could check in. Yeah, half an hour earlier than planned. Unfortunately, we weren't pitched next to each other or next to each other. We were in a spot where we always had to walk past someone else's mobile home, and we found this unpleasant. The mobile home seemed clean at first glance, but upon closer inspection, we noticed some strange/dirty spots on the doors and walls. There was only a little dust under the beds. Otherwise, it was clean. The mobile home was fully equipped. There could have been a bit more space to walk around the double bed! Two days later, Rob from Roan contacted us to ask if the mobile home behind our family was available and if we wanted to swap. The people who were going to stay there didn't know which mobile home they were staying in, so they could just move into ours! So the next day, we packed everything up and moved to the mobile home behind our family. Same model, only the kitchen had a different/better layout. This mobile home could also have been cleaned a bit better. Again, there were dirty/strange spots on the walls and doors. The toilet door wouldn't lock either. Overall, we had a great holiday. 4 stars for the mobile home 5 stars for Rob Rob was friendly and helpful. You could always WhatsApp him with questions, and he responded very quickly. Maybe we'll go on holiday with Roan again next year!

As always, I'm sharing my personal opinion and impressions here – as I experienced it. We visited the Mediterraneo campsite again this summer. I've already written a separate review of the site itself. This is about my experience with Roan Camping Holidays. We stayed in the Comfort Plus Relax mobile home. In my opinion, it's a bit dated now, looks used, and shows some signs of wear. The amenities were fine; everything worked – TV, air conditioning, shower, etc. If you want more, you should equip yourself. Ours was standard: no dishwasher, but a coffee machine, TV, air conditioning, shower, toilet, terrace with high chairs, a small lounge sofa, clothes rack, and a refrigerator. It was fine so far and shouldn't be rated negatively. When we arrived, the mobile home was generally clean – but in my opinion, not 100%, which is what I expect for the price. I always clean afterward myself – whether it's the kitchen, shower, or bedrooms – because I simply know what's important to me. What I found really unpleasant were the floor mats and the broom – there were still hairs from previous guests in them, which I consider unhygienic. The dishes weren't clean either; I had to wash everything again. I think this was simply overlooked during the final inspection – but it could easily have been avoided. What I would like to specifically praise is the on-site service. During our stay, two small repairs needed to be done – they were done quickly, friendly, and reliably. The two Roan attendants on site are truly fantastic: super friendly, always available (including via WhatsApp), helpful, and simply present. Thank you both – you're doing a really great job. I hope you stay with the site for a long time! Overall, I can recommend Roan. We've been booking with this provider for many years and have spent some wonderful holidays with them – especially in Italy. However, I would like to point out that I now find the prices to be very high. In peak season, the rating for two weeks is now "4" – sure, Mediterraneo is a top-notch site, glamping costs money, but I find the value for money in some older mobile homes with rather basic amenities borderline. Nevertheless, we had a lovely holiday. And as I said, this is my personal opinion and my experience.

I can recommend it to everyone. It's a very nice campsite with everything you need.
