8 years agoRinghotel Köhlers Forsthaus, Aurich/East Frisia. It's a shame that this beautifully situated and well-run hotel and restaurant is so overrated in terms of its room category. I stayed 5 nights in a "deluxe" double room: Attic room with a convoluted layout, bed alcove only suitable for double beds (80 cm wide) and narrow access points, one of which has a bed frame mounted on the wall. This frame has to be folded flat against the wall, otherwise the bed is inaccessible. A more honest rating would be appropriate if it were a comfort room, and the guest would return.
