a month agoHoliday 2025 in Fabulous City, near Rome. In September 2025, we, an 82-year-old couple, spent three weeks in Rome at the Fabulous City campsite. Our hosts were Evert and Francis. The day before our arrival, Evert called us to ask what time we expected to arrive. We agreed to call when we were within about 100 km of the campsite. Arriving at the campsite, we were neatly waiting in line at the registration desk when Evert saw us and, armed with our passports, bypassed the queue and checked us in without any further formalities. A VIP treatment that felt like a warm bath. He escorted us to the rented caravan, which was parked at the very back of the campsite, far from the restaurant, takeaway facilities, and the entrance. The caravan was parked there, isolated and alone in the woods. Not an ideal situation. Evert immediately offered to find us another location, advising us not to unpack all our belongings and to stay in the cottage for one night. The next morning, Evert offered us an alternative location near the campsite entrance, which we gratefully accepted. Excellent service. During our stay, Evert and Francis regularly stopped by for a chat and to ask if everything was to our liking. At times, it seemed as if we were their only guests. With this kind of treatment, you feel truly welcome. Evert and Francis, thank you for all your care and attention. Joke and Hans Kurvers/Oudenbosch/The Netherlands.

a month agoThe vacation hasn't even started and we're already incredibly disappointed! We booked a mobile home through Allcamps in September 2025 for June 2026. After carefully considering the pros and cons of the various mobile homes, we deliberately chose one in a premium location with two bathrooms. Now, Allcamps has informed us that the mobile home we booked and deposited for is unavailable due to a festival! Tickets for the festival went on sale last September. The mobile home they've now offered us is a downgrade and doesn't match our booking at all! This way of treating customers is disappointing! The alternatives they've offered are to leave two days earlier or arrive earlier—which, considering we've planned our annual vacation and are traveling over 1400 km, is practically an insult. A disappointing experience even before our vacation has begun!

6 months agoMy mom broke her leg during our stay, and Matteo from Roan went above and beyond to make sure we could stay at the camping and still had a good experience. He made a bridge up to the porch of the mobile home, so we could wheel the wheelchair up on the porch. He helped us with that every day. Thanks to Matteo we had a great stay at Camping Family Village Rimini!

6 months agoWe visited Camping BI-Village in Croatia at Roan accommodations. What excellent service! Upon arrival, we were asked about our arrival time and were quickly welcomed by the Roan staff. After filling out the necessary information, we were escorted to our tent. A drink was already cold in the refrigerator, which is perfect; something for everyone (beer, juice, and water). We booked for a week and wanted to stay longer. A longer stay was no problem, and we were able to choose from the available options. Communication with the campsite team is fast via WhatsApp. This is fantastic. Our overall impression of Roan accommodations is excellent, with a comprehensive inventory, clean, and well-maintained.

6 months agoWe booked a mobile home at campsite Senia Internacional Gala Gogo via Vacanceselect. We were with two families and could only stand next to or alongside each other for a payment of 100 euros, which we found too pricey, so we didn't choose that option. We arrived at 10 o'clock and knew we would be able to check into the mobile home from 4 o'clock. Because there were very small children with us, we were told that we could check in earlier and that we would be called when everything was clean. But we had something to eat and drink and explored the campsite, and at 3:30 we were called to say we could check in. Yeah, half an hour earlier than planned. Unfortunately, we didn't end up standing next to or alongside each other. We were in a spot where we always had to walk past someone else's mobile home, and we found this unpleasant. At first glance, the mobile home was clean, but upon closer inspection, we saw strange/dirty spots here and there on the doors and walls. There was only a little dust under the beds. Otherwise, it was clean. Otherwise, the mobile home was fully equipped. There could have been a bit more room to walk around the double bed! Two days later, Rob from Roan approached us to say that the mobile home behind our family's place was becoming available and asked if we wanted to swap. The people who were going to stay there didn't know which mobile home they would be moving into anyway, so they could just stay in ours! So, the next day we packed everything up again and moved to the mobile home behind the family's. It was the same type, only the kitchen had a different/better layout. This mobile home could also have been cleaned a bit better. Here too, there were dirty/weird spots on the walls and doors. The toilet door also couldn't be locked. Overall, we had a great holiday. 4 stars for the mobile home 5 stars for Rob Rob was friendly and very helpful. You could always WhatsApp him with questions and he responded very quickly. Maybe we'll go on holiday with Roan again next year!
